Arctic Perspective First Meeting

What is the artistic meaning of a nomadic structure in some of the most barren areas of the world?

Competition Brief can be found here.

Within the next week we'd like to research the following things/ideas in prep for this competition:

- Power Generation in Arctic
-Portability Precedents
-Artistic/Civic function above the Arctic Circle
-Aboriginal Cultures above the Arctic Circle
-Snow Smelting
-Days of Light/Days of Dark
-Local Wildlife
-Propulsion systems.  (let's look for some cool propulsion systems that could be a form of artistry in it's own right.)

We'd like to focus a majority of the investigation at the moment on the Aboriginal Cultures in the north and let that drive the artistic necessities of what we design.
